1. General

This site is operated for the purpose of commemorating Ilay Meir Gabai z"l and raising donations to build a synagogue in his memory. The terms are written in masculine form for convenience only and are addressed to all genders.

2. Donations & Payment

• Donations are collected via secure payment processing by Cardcom. Credit card details are not stored on the site’s servers.
• You may donate by credit card, bit, Apple Pay and Google Pay, and may split the donation into several installments per the options on the payment page.
• A receipt is issued for every donation and sent to the email address you provided. The receipt is tax-deductible under Section 46 of the Income Tax Ordinance.
• A donation supports the cause and does not grant any consideration, product or service.

3. Cancellation & Refund

If a donation was made in error or you wish to cancel it, please contact us promptly and we will review the request per the law. A refund, if approved, will be made to the payment method used for the donation.

4. Privacy & Data

• When donating we collect the details you provide: name, phone, email and ID number. The ID number is required solely to issue a tax-deductible receipt.
• The information is used to process the donation, issue the receipt, contact you regarding the donation, and manage the campaign.
• We do not sell or transfer your information to third parties, except service providers necessary for operations (payment, accounting, messaging) and as required by law.
• You may contact us at any time to view, correct or delete the information kept about you, per the Privacy Protection Law, 5741-1981.

5. Communications & Updates

Following your donation we will send you operational messages regarding the donation — confirmation, receipt and a thank-you. From time to time we may update donors on the campaign and construction progress. In every message you can ask to be removed from the mailing list, and your request will be honored immediately.

6. Cookies

• The site uses cookies essential to its operation (such as saving form state and accessibility preferences).
• In addition, the site uses the Meta (Facebook) Pixel and measurement tools for traffic analysis and advertising. These cookies may collect information about your visit and be used to tailor ads.
